  • Aprašymas: Kolopetinitsa is a mountain village known as the hometown of Thymios, the celebrated village tough guy, a type that Kostas Chatzichristos introduced to the Greek cinema. The inhabitants of Kolopetinitsa, led by the President of the community Efthymios Tamzourlas and the rural constable Miltiadis Sourvos, welcome Mr. Tony and Mrs. Judy, a newlywed couple of Greek-Americans, who came to the village to spend their honeymoon. In reality, however, they are two crooks who have fled to the village because they stole money from the businessman Iordanis Mouratoglou, who is a friend of Tony’s and a fan of Judy’s (Judy is a singer). At that time, president Efthymios, in view of the upcoming local elections, discovers a well with exceptionally therapeutic water, and so invites Mouratoglou to Kolopetinitsa to build a hotel there. From his side, Mouratoglou has already sent a painter, Alekos, to follow the thieves. Efthymios doesn’t succeed in being reelected President; Alekos, however, manages not only to find the money but also capture Judy’s heart, whom Mouratoglou forgives in the end.
